It seems that no matter where you look these days, when it comes to investigating Russia’s interference with the 2016 election, you are going to see or hear about Congressman Eric Swalwell (D-CA 15). I absolutely believe that his political career has a long way to go, and I am proud to be in his district.
I have known about Swalwell since I was in high school a decade ago when he was the president of the alumni association of my high school, and voted for him to Congress. I didn’t know much about him when I first voted for him, but I knew that he would do better than his opponent, Pete Stark.
However, after the 2016 election and the result from Russia’s hacking and Swalwell’s involvement and constant vigilance when looking into the issue, I became a huge fan of his. I thought he was doing a good job as a congressman before that, but I truly believe that the best thing that has happened to him was his position on the House Intelligence Committee during the probes into Russia’s attempts, and his reaction and his work. He’s been on a myriad of news networks, and searching his name on Youtube, you’ll find his appearances on NBC, CNN, MSNBC, CBS, and FOX News. He’s got a future ahead of him, and he’s going places.
